KATE SHOULDERS
UPCOMING
The American Mime Theatre will be presenting two pieces during this April’s Ted X Cuny Conference. “Stepping Into the Creative Space” - delving into the preparation, procedures, and form of the American Mime Technique - and “Next Stop” - a short play crafted by the company members under the direction of Janet Carafa.
This summer, I’ll be returning to Denver, CO to participate in Meow Wolf’s production of Phenomenomaly!

Recent Works
This past September, I performed with Strange Fish Productions in their highly comedic, outrageously queer, gender explosive take on Shakespeare’s classic battle of the sexes, Much Ado About Nothing as the ridiculous Dogberry.
In June, I had the unexpected opportunity to perform with The Evening Crane Theatre at the Edgar Allen Poe Museum in Richmond , VA.
After an unfortunate case of Covid left the lead actress unable to perform, I was brought onto the project, learning and preforming the role of Beauty in just 3 days!
The Spyglass Seven by Michael Seebold finds Edgar Allan Poe resurrected from the grave by the Spirit of Beauty for one night, to speak again with the ghosts of the seven women who most shaped his life and work.
